Welcome to the Bastogne Country

The Region of Bastogne is made up of five separate communes: a provincial township, Bastogne, and its four communes are characterized by a strong rural feel: Bertogne, Fauvillers, Sainte-Ode and Vaux-sur-Sûre.

These communes offer you a rich, well-conserved natural environment, in which you can choose to spend your stay in bed-and-breakfast style lodging, or even on a farm in the heart of Ardennes country.

Bastogne boasts a history marked by the battle of the Bulge. The Mardasson, a monument erected in the form of an American star, remains a lasting symbol of the sacrifice of American soldiers who died for the sake of our freedom.

That does not make the city any less of a meeting place, whose commercial activity is something of a jewel, unique in the province of Luxembourg.

These differences do not stop the five stars from joining forces to offer the highest quality, a union which is their strength and makes the high plateau of the Ardennes the pride of Wallonia’s tourism scene.
